The beginning of our adventures!
Adventure Awaits
A couple of years back, Abby & I started to discuss our future plans once the kids graduated from college and settled into their careers.
What could we start doing for ourselves?
We took a trip to the west coast of Florida to start exploring possible future destinations.
Of course, then COVID hit and everything ground to a stop.
Plans derailed? No.
We’re very fortunate and know it.
Our four amazing kids (young adults) have done really well at establishing their own careers in different parts of the country.
The 2021 Housing Market
2021 has been an absolutely insane time in the real estate marketplace.
For ourselves, we knew that we would be selling and downsizing in 2022, but we started to reevaluate this year.
What kind of sealed the deal to sell for us was the realization that our kids are all over the place and not returning to our hometown of Newtown, Pennsylvania anytime soon.
We put our house up for sale and within 20 minutes we had an irresistible offer that we accepted.
Let’s Make it an Adventure
Not knowing where we ultimately would like to settle down, we decided to plan a trip to see the United States.
Our first stop was the 8-21-2021 Dead & Company show at Citizen’s Bank Park in Philadelphia.
